The snow leopard is globally endangered and extremely beautiful. Did I mention it has an incredible yawn as well? Don’t miss this week’s featured photo!
This week’s photo is of a striped Nassau grouper I observed feasting on a lobster! Photographed in Glover’s Reef Atoll, Belize. The Nassau grouper is becoming an endangered species and this area is one of the best locations for spotting them.
As seen from the top of the United States’ largest city park, South Mountain.
Mandrills are the largest monkey in the world, but that’s not all they’re known for – they have big brightly colored nostrils, facial markings and rear ends!
This week’s photo is from one of my favorite parks I’ve ever visited – the Botanical building and reflecting lily pond located inside the amazing Balboa Park at San Diego, California.
This week’s photo is of the San Miguel Mission in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Built from adobe originally in 1610 it’s claimed as the oldest church in the United States.
Pictured is the Navajo Bridge crossing the beautiful Marble Canyon, AZ. Located near Lee’s ferry it’s the only road crossing the Colorado River for 600 miles.
On March 30 was an event unlike any I’ve experienced before. The Holi Festival of Colors in Spanish Fork, Utah is the largest celebration of Holi in the western Hemisphere. A religious (Hindu) celebration for the arrival of spring and the ending of winter and is a major event in India – but I didn’t have to travel all the way across the world to find over 50,000 people having a wonderful time and celebrating.
