Pictured is the Navajo Bridge crossing the beautiful Marble Canyon, AZ. Located near Lee’s ferry it’s the only road crossing the Colorado River for 600 miles.
An unexpectedly perfect day hiking and relaxing on the beach in San Diego’s Torrey Pines State Park and Preserve. It wasn’t too crowded, the scenery was beautiful and nature had been well preserved – all within a few minutes of downtown San Diego.
On March 30 was an event unlike any I’ve experienced before. The Holi Festival of Colors in Spanish Fork, Utah is the largest celebration of Holi in the western Hemisphere. A religious (Hindu) celebration for the arrival of spring and the ending of winter and is a major event in India – but I didn’t have to travel all the way across the world to find over 50,000 people having a wonderful time and celebrating.

Beautiful plants can grow in even the harshest desert conditions. Check out the Desert Botanical Garden’s abundance of plants, art sculptures and exhibits out on display; including the large iconic Saguaro cactus. A special treat from artist Philip Haas as well.
A sunset and the silhouette of Arizona’s desert mountains near Phoenix, AZ.
Pictures and review from visiting the Wildlife World Zoo. Don’t miss the video of the giraffe feeding, photos of white tigers, the rarest reptile on earth, and many other exotic animals!
High quality photo from an incredible view of downtown Phoenix skyline & skyscrapers at dusk. Photographed at an elevation of over 2,000 feet – on top of Dobbins lookout point inside the South Mountain Park and Preserve.
My list of 7 great things to do while visiting Santa Fe, New Mexico. This city isn’t huge but it’s full of art, culture and history.
